1. License & Usage

PrivacyBlur Plus is distributed for use via the Chrome Web Store. You may install and use the extension for personal, professional, or commercial screen sharing and privacy protection in accordance with these terms.

2. Scope of Functionality & Limitations

PrivacyBlur Plus is engineered as a visual aid to help obscure sensitive text rendered inside browser web pages during screen sharing. You acknowledge that:

• Protection is strictly visual within Chromium browser tabs. It does not protect native desktop applications or operating system UI outside the browser viewport.
• Elements rendered directly within canvas pixel buffers, WebGL surfaces, or closed shadow roots cannot be modified by DOM content scripts.
• You remain solely responsible for verifying that your screen sharing session does not expose confidential data.

3. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY.
